: : Hi Sue. My Mailing Labels will not print when I upgrade to Windows 2000 or Windows XP from Windows 98. error message: "can't print this type of paper on the current, select a different printer or a paper size." I am using a panasonic KX-P1150 printer.(tractor feed) Please help!

: Lotus suggests that you uncheck "tractor feed" in the label definition properties. To do this, go to the label view and into Design mode. Right-click and select "Properties" to get the properties dialog displayed. On the Basics page you should see a button "Edit Label Options" to go to the label properties.

: Microsoft has told Lotus that printer drivers have changed in W2000-XP (MS directed them to do so) and no longer will take just any old paper size. Instead, there is a way to define a "custom form" within the printer setup and give it the correct size and a name that you will be able to select for the label in Approach.

: In addition, I have a major escalation of this issue with Lotus/IBM currently. They claim that the following printers work fine:

: Lexmark Optra T 614
: HP Laserjet 4050
: HP Laserjet 5000 series
: IBM InfoPrint 32
: IBM InfoPrint 1145

: I would suggest you first try the "tractor feed" suggestion and see if it works. Then try the "define a form" suggestion. Please let me know your results.

Hi Sue. Thankyou for the fast reply. Changing the "tractor feed" setting took care of the first problem. However, when printing the label, the printer feeder continues to keep going after the 1 label is done.
