: Do you have a UK datadase for postcodes in place of US zip code database, or is ther one compatble ODP for the UK.

This site has downloadable files of post codes (bottom of this search page):
http://www.brainstorm.co.uk/uk_post_code_search.htm

The one titled "UK Post Codes - comma separated file, suitable for loading into a database (740Kb)" looks like the best option to me.

Save the file as a .txt file, then open ODP. In Design Mode, use the File menu Open option. Select "Delimited Text" as the file type and locate your saved file from above. It is comma-delimited, but with no field names in the first row of the file. This will create a post-code database that you can then use in ODP by importing it into the zipcodes database. You can do that by opening the zipcodes.dbf file directly with Approach (File, Open, file type dBaseIV).

Note that you can do a search on Google or other search sites and you may find a better source!
