This freezing up is a problem with Approach. The find you are trying to do, is between two databases that are not linked (customers and products).
It looks like Approach forgot to code in this possibility, and instead of giving an error message, it just locks up.
There is a way around this.
1. First, go to the File Maintenance Menu, and select 'Customize Invoice and Labels'.
2. Then select Customize Customer Mailing Labels.
3. Go into design mode.
4. Looking at the basics tab in the properties box, change the main database to OrdHead.
5. Go back into browse mode and try the find command.
With this change, we have created a link between the product file and customer order file. This makes a find possible using data from both databases.
It shouldn't freeze up Approach any more.
