: : We finally got a used dot matrix printer to do shipping/order lables.  We have it hooked up to the printer port on our Windows 98 computer, and have a laser printer hooked up via USB to print invoices.  But right now, for each order (we often only have one or two a day), we have to keep switching printers and preferences manually as we print the shipping label, then the invoice for each order.

: : Although we've tried, we can't seem to get the appropriate printer to remain the default for it's respective duty (i.e. we would like the laser to be automatically selected when we hit the Invoice button; the dot matrix to be automatically selected when we hit the Shipping label button).  Is there a way we can do this, rather than having to switch back and forth manually?

: Unfortunately, switching printers is not something I can build into the program. Lotus Approach assumes that you want to use the system's default printer every time you print. There are ways to work around this with custom programming, but it is not inexpensive to do so.
